Q-Block Is Awesome!
I learned of this site while I was checking out Walfas. Q-Block is a browser based application that lets you create 3-D pixel (voxel) art. It is really fun to make stuff and it is easy to use. I made some things there. (Mostly Touhou characters.) You can view the stuff I made here.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Last week, I finished Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. I already unlocked all the characters in Mission Mode. Completing all the optional objectives wasn’t that bad. The only mission that annoyed the hell out of me was the emblem collecting mission on Day 75. (To fulfill the optional objective in this mission, you must collect all emblems with the rings intact.)

Is it bad of me that I thought of the scene in Megaman X4 (The one with Zero and Iris.) when Roxas defeats Xion? I imagined that Roxas would scream, *Insert crappy English dub voice of Zero here* “WHA-WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR?!”

Touhoumon (Yui/Aqua Patch)

I haven’t really progressed much in this game. I’m just trying out a bunch other Touhou characters and try to make what I deem as “The Perfect Team”. Well, when you have access to Last Word, Final, Advent, and UFO characters, wouldn’t you love to try out different combination of Touhou characters?

Just done the 2nd part of the Aqua/Yui patch Halloween Event and got Layla. Just as everyone said in the Touhoumon Thread, Layla is very unruly. She won’t obey commands. (And I already have all the badges and she is only Level 35.) This will probably be fixed in the next part of the event and I can’t wait for the next one.

Yay! Finally caught all Touhou 12 characters with no problems encountered!

Alright! The update is already out and as you can see, I have already caught all the Touhou 12 characters with no problems. I can finally have Murasa and Hijiri in my team. (Already did. Hehe…) Well, I’m gonna go train my new Touhoumon, (Hijiri, Murasa, and later on Inu Sakuya) finish the Sevii Island Quest, and finally beat the Elite 4. Oh yeah, here is my current team:

I’m going to replace that EX Sakuya (Who is my starter Touhoumon.) with an Inu Sakuya. (Which will then evolve into Last Word Sakuya.) I’m just gonna level up Hijiri, Murasa, and Final Yuka first before I get Inu Sakuya.

Touhoumon (Aqua/Yui Patch)
Well, the Aqua/Yui Patch has been updated to include the Touhou 12 characters. After reading about that in Pooshlmer’s Touhoumon Thread, I downloaded the updated ROM and rushed my play through. So as I was preparing my items to take the Elite 4 challenge, I noticed that someone is blocking the passage. And just as I thought, the NPC says that Lorelei is not back and that I can’t do the Elite 4 challenge. So I figured that, I’ll probably do the Sevii Island Quest first before I get to challenge the Elite 4. I was right and I got excited because:

a) I can now purchase Sun Stone and Moon Stone which means I have access to the Advent, Last Word, and Final Touhoumon. (Both stones can be bought at Island Seven in Battle Tower.)

b) I can now go to Altering Cave and capture those Touhou 12 characters!

Well first off, I headed for Altering Cave and I already experienced one of the problems that was pointed in the board. I got a blue green screen of death on my emulator. Another one is that sometimes when you encounter a Touhou it sometimes resets the game. But I did manage to get 3 out of the 6 Touhou 12 characters. Another update will be released by Friday. Here are the 3 that I captured:

I’m currently raising the Chibi Murasa that I captured. Well, I haven’t really tried her out yet. I have her hold on the Exp. Share and get her to around level 20 before I make her battle. She does have poor growth in Speed. I really can’t wait for that update on Friday. Oh, yeah, I was also planning on replacing my Starter, EX Sakuya and replace her with Inu Sakuya. (Can be attained by giving a Chibi Sakuya a Sun Stone. It will then evolve to Last Word Sakuya at Level 30.) I also encountered a Rinnosuke (Called Rinnosuke II in the Touhoudex database in Touhou Wiki.) in Island Six and I did not get to capture it. TT_TT A level 8 Rinnosuke made me waste all my Ultra Orbs! Damn it!

Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel Web Trial Version

Yeah, a bit late for the party but what the heck. Its really pretty fun to be able to play as Freudia. Well, she is one of my favorite characters in Rosenkreuzstilette after all. But damn, they kinda went overboard with the stage hazards! Lava pits, disappearing platforms, moving platforms, bottomless pits of doom, wind blowing you off to a pit that will lead to your doom (in the previous demo)…. AH, I’M HAVING MEGAMARI FLASHBACKS!!! Hehe…. that’s a bit exaggerated, (MegaMari is still tougher for me.) but yeah, the difficulty has spiked up much compared to the previous game. Well, nothing a little memorization can’t solve. Anyway, I can’t wait for the full version.

Luna Online PH
This is the online game that I am currently playing. (And hopefully play longer than the previous online games I played.) The one in the image is my character, Freudenstachel (Hehe… See, I told you I like Freudia.) currently a Ruffian class. The first character that I started out was not this character actually. I started out with a Fighter class but I was not content with it. I am now content with my character Freudenstachel because his Evasion Rate and Critical Hit Rate is really high. Freudenstachel is currently Level 34. (6 more levels to go before I can do another job change.)

Edit:
1. I have been leveling up my Chibi Murasa and I encountered a problem. I can’t get my Chibi Marusa to be Level 34 because the ROM just freezes after the battle. I don’t know if this applies to the other Touhou 12 characters that I captured. I might test the other Touhou 12 characters later. I just hope that the update will fix these problems. For now, I’m just leveling up my Final Patchouli. (And after that, train an Inu Sakuya.)

2. It seems that the problem of the “black screen of death” only applies to Chibi Murasa. I trained the Chibi Kogasa that I captured and I managed to make it evolve and got past Level 34. I think I will try training the Chibi Nue that I captured just to be sure but my guess is that this “black screen of death” only applies to Chibi Murasa for some unknown reason.

3. Just as I thought, only the Chibi Murasa has this problem. Damn it! I want Murasa to be in my team! I do hope that the update will fix this.

4. Unbelievable! Even the Chibi Nue makes the ROM freeze at a certain point! I figure that this has to the with their evolution. I’m really surprised that my Kogasa did not suffer the same problem. Really, I am surprised.

An inquiring mind wants to know.

This will probably be left unanswered but what the heck.

1. How do you beat an enemy that is a blocking pansy?
Me and my friend have been playing on Netplay for some time and right now I am not having an overwhelming victory over my friend like when we played SWR. I think its not because my skills in this game have rusted but mainly because that friend of mine is a blocking pansy! He always cowers in a corner like a pansy waiting for me to deplete my spirit orbs when I use skills or use bullets and then he will bullet spam me like crazy. When I do the standard dial A combo (5AAAA), he will block all that then when I am done he will counter with his own dial A combo. Well, I can beat him but not as much and overwhelming as before during SWR. Usually, when I don’t react to his cheap pansy tactic he will try to get near me and melee attack, which would seem like a good opportunity to attack him but if he sees that I’m gonna take him head on, he will stop whatever he was planning to do and block like a pansy again. Well, I can take him on with some skills that can catch him off guard like Tenshi’s Six Earthquakes -Signs- alt. skill, Utsuho’s Hell Geyser alt. skill, and Sakuya’s Perfect Maid alt. skill but then not all characters have this surprise attack skills. Its just flat out annoying, makes the match long and drawn out, and I don’t like the fact that I lost the match because of a cheap tactic. Oh yeah, he still can’t beat me when I use Patchouli. Even if he uses that cowardly tactic.

2. How do I use Cirno’s Freeze Sign [Perfect Freeze] effectively?
This is one of Cirno’s spell cards that I got earlier than her other cards. I can’t seem to get a high damage output from it. I only get around 800+ damage from it. SWR Wiki says that this has high damage potential. How do I maximize the damage that it can inflict and when is the perfect time to use it? If I can’t use Perfect Freeze well, I will just switch with a different spell card. (I’m still lacking 1 spell card for Cirno.)

3. How do I pull off Youmu’s Enlightenment Sword [Slash of Cleansing Six Sins] effectively?
Yes, I know that it is a melee reversal spell card. The parry only last for a short time which makes timing it with your opponent’s melee attack a bit tricky. I have only pulled it off once when I was fighting Cirno on Arcade Mode. (Lunatic Mode) I would switch it with another spell card but the insanely high damage is so hard to pass up.

About question #3, after a few more plays in Arcade Mode (Lunatic), I can pull off Enlightenment Sword [Slash of Cleansing Six Sins] more than once but the timing is still tricky. This spell card is more situational in use. Probably best used when you are backed into a corner being pummeled by a 5AAAA or when your opponent uses a 66A/B/C. (Using this spell card on Reisen in Arcade Mode is easily pulled off because she often uses 66A when you are in the corner.) Obsessor  [Slash of Eternity] and Enlightened Sword [Rise From Delusion] still are my offensive spell cards for Youmu. I still welcome any suggestions for pulling off Enlightenment Sword [Slash of Cleansing Six Sins] effectively.

This is just me whining about school work. Bear with me for a bit. This is mainly about a group work project in Introduction To Mass Media. And why would I not be complaining? I already done my part and yet more work is being passed to me because those slobs haven’t done their work earlier when the copy for the survey forms are given. God damn it! I shouldn’t be doing this work! I am now typing the Introduction part of  our project against my will. (For I also fear failing. They should be the once doing this crap!) Might as well get this over with. I’ll just type in a few bits of the Introduction (For I don’t really feel like typing anything.) , e-mail it, and let them finish the rest. They will have more time because we have no classes tomorrow. Damn it, I should be taking it easy! Instead I am saddled with this crap!

Screw Haruhi! Byakuren is now my new god and savior! (Yeah, I’m still pretty sore from the Endless Eight fiasco.) I want to encounter her now but the tiger loli won’t let me!

So, I only had a few chances of playing Touhou 12 because last week I had Midterm exams. I’m playing on Easy Mode (Go ahead and laugh.) and so far I am stuck on Stage 5. The problem that I see in my attempts is that chasing those UFOs makes me reckless and it ends up getting me killed. Also, Stage 5 somehow depletes most of the extra lives that I gathered from Stage 1 – Stage 4. I’m still not used to the stage. (As I said I have only played it a few times.) By the time I get to Shou, I will only have 3 – 4 lives left and get owned by the curving lasers. TT_TT I want to see (and fight) Byakuren already! Damn you tiger loli!

With Touhou 12.3, its pretty swell. I like using “The Strongest In All Of Gensokyo”. LOL (Its even more lulzy when I own Reimu and co.) Ice Mass [Great Smasher] is my favorite spell card for Cirno. My problem with this game now is that I am having a really hard time gathering skill cards and spell cards for the characters that I use. Its a bit tedious. And due to my lack of good skill cards and spell cards, I’m getting owned by my friend (Whom I dubbed “Patchy Hater” for his hatred for Patchouli for reasons unknown.) when we battle. The damn cheater just downloaded a score.dat so he has 4 copies of each skill card and spell card. It also doesn’t help that he just spams bullets. Well, I would download the score.dat but my gamer pride would not let me! Its a self imposed rule that the only time that I could use cheats is when I beat a game once. Ah well, I already have some decent cards for the other characters I use. Patchouli is the one that I am having problems gathering skill cards and spell cards with. Its seems that no matter how many times I play Arcade Mode (on Lunatic), I could not get some decent cards for Patchouli. I guess its just a streak of bad luck. More card grinding for me then. TT_TT

A new post after almost 3 months of absence. (Blame my laziness for that. LOL) So I was browsing around Touhou Image Board and read their Touhoumon Thread. I then encountered this patch and a link to it and thought to myself, “Why not. I’m bored enough to play anything.” So yeah, I’m playing Touhoumon again but this one is different from the Lobsterhime patch which I was playing (and beaten) last time.

The first change is that you already have the National Dex at the beginning and that you can already capture Touhoumon exclusive in Sevii Island and Cerulean Cave. Well, just check out my current team:

The next change is that you can have Last Word and Final forms of Touhoumon. The Last Word Touhomon are exclusive only to the Elite 4 and your Rival in the Lobsterhime patch. Speaking of which:

Last Word Remilia (Obtainable by giving a Chibi Remilia a Moon Stone. Only in this patch.) She outclasses my other Touhoumon in stats even though they are almost the same level.

I read in the thread that you can buy Sun Stones and Moon Stones when you reach Sevii Island in this patch. You can pretty much create a team of Last Word, Final, and Advent Touhomon if you want.

The last change is in the script. I actually find this funny and amusing. Your Rival (Who’s sprite is Renko Usami.) talks kinder compared to the Rival in the Pokemon games. She also says “Let’s play danmaku!” and “Let’s graze it!” when you battle her. (By the way, your player sprite can either be Renko (If you chose that you are a boy.) and Maribel. (If you chose that you are a girl.) Since the Rival is already Renko, I just chose the Maribel sprite because having 2 Renkos is kinda odd for me.) The Pokemon Center is called “Eirin’s Center” and the sign outside says “Please cure me, Eirin’s Center” and the “PokeMart” is called the “Kirisame Mart”. Since I haven’t gotten that far, (I’m now heading to Lavender Town in my current game.) so I don’t know if there will be any more scripts like this but I’ll end this with this last script. Bill is called ZUN in this game and when he gives you the S.S. Anne ticket for helping him, he will say that “I would rather play EoSD than attend parties.” For some reason, I find that very funny and amusing.

Now then, I’ll be playing Touhou 12 and Touhou 12.3. Got to figure out how to beat that tiger loli and gather more skill cards and spell cards. Later then!

What I want for my birthday, Patchy in a box! LOL

Its already pass 12 AM here which means I’m officially 21 today. Hooray! I really wanted some Touhou stuff as a present but I could not acquire one even if I force my love for Touhou on my friends. Oh well! Me and my friends are going to the mall around noon and look for some PVC figures to add to my collection. (And of course have fun while we are there.) Guess I’ll sleep early then.

Miku Miku!

This is the character portrait I chose for my Medic. I named her Eirin.

So yeah, I’m continuing my file in Etrian Odyssey. I don’t really remember why I stopped playing this game but now that I have beaten Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume and seen all 3 endings, I have nothing else to play. So I am already at the 3rd Stratum and I finally have a Ronin. I am now training a Ronin and a Troubadour and both of them are now Level 20. Training both of them was not that tough. I just beat up the FOEs at the 1st Stratum and the 2nd Stratum and they are leveling decently. This game is pretty awesome!
