Its good to be back at the comfort of my air conditioned room.
This post is basically a summary of my 5 day trip in Bicol:
Day 1: (Wednesday)
We left at around 5:00 AM. The traffic is a freaking nightmare! (Understandable because many folks go back to the provinces to spend Holy Week there.) I’m trying to get some sleep (Because I did not get enough sleep.) but can’t seem to do so. Stopped over at Quezon National Park for lunch. (That is around 12:30 if I remembered correctly.) Pretty much slept throughout the afternoon. Got to Naga City at around 6 PM and went to CWC (Camarines Sur Water Sports Center) and watched some wake boarders. At normal circumstance we could reach Naga City around 3:00 PM but because of the traffic, we got there at night. I could have enjoyed our visit to CWC if we got there a bit earlier. Went to a diner called Biggs Diner for dinner and let me tell you that the food there is meh and the service is pretty sloppy. Got to my cousin’s place at 10:45 PM and just went to sleep because we are going somewhere the next day.
Day 2 (Thursday)
I was awakened from my nice sleep (much to my annoyance) at 7:30 AM to eat breakfast. After that we went to Kawa-Kawa, where you need to work your way up the mountain and pass by some statues depicting the Station of the Cross. The climb wasn’t that tough and the view from above is really awesome. I took a few pictures using the camera of my cell phone:

Did not do anything much during the afternoon. I just installed Touhou 10 and Rosenkreuzstilette on my cousin’s PC. I could have installed Touhou 10.5 and Touhou 11 in his PC but there are some missing programs in his computer. (His computer is not updated much because there is no internet at his place.) I kinda found it boring during the night. The people in my cousin’s place really sleep early. So I was left alone in my lonesome, playing Valkyrie Profile on the DS and when I got bored of that watched some shows on Animax.
Day 3 (Friday)
We went to a hut that my father built in the fields. The hut wasn’t to shabby. The only thing it lacks is electricity. (Which he will add pretty soon.) My little sister tried playing Touhou 10. Teaching her to play it is pretty exhausting.
At 6:30 PM, there is a procession. The flickering lights from the candles that the people are carrying in the procession was making me feel bored and sleepy so I looked around for anything interesting. I looked up and saw that a full moon was out. For some reason, the full moon reminded me of this video:
The thought made me grin like an idiot. (More specifically, the thought of Tewi giving the full moon the middle finger is amusing.) After dinner, we went to visit the nearby church. Then I was yet again made to sleep early because we are going to the beach in the morning.
Day 4 (Saturday)
I was awakened at 6:00 AM and we went to the beach. I was surprised that there are a lot of people in the beach so early in the morning. I was not really into it (and because I only slept for a good 5 hours.) so I just floated on the water, spread my arms, and muttered to myself, “Is that so~”. (I was also thinking of shouting that out but its too troublesome and embarrassing.) We then got back to have breakfast. My family is going to buy some stuff to bring back home (We are leaving the next day.) but I just stayed behind (and leave the shopping to them.) and took it easy. We have meat for lunch finally. (I don’t really like fish and I have been eating fish since we got there.) I was pretty much asleep during the afternoon. When I woke up, I checked the TV to see if there was anything interesting to watch. There wasn’t anything of interest to watch… well except documentaries about alien abductions, tools used in executing criminals in the past, and The Devil’s Bible.
We are gonna leave early so I tried to get some sleep. Because I slept so much during the afternoon I could not get to sleep so I thought to my self that I’ll just take a nap during the trip and just watched shows from Animax, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network until 3:00 AM.
Day 5 (Sunday)
We left at around 4:00 AM. (To beat the traffic.) I dozed off for an hour. When I woke up, I found that we stopped at Biggs Diner for breakfast. Oh boy! (*sarcasm*) The service is still as sloppy as ever. If only I did not doze off right away, I could have persuaded them to eat somewhere else. After that, I pretty much dozed off again but not for a long time because of the intense heat. (It is summer here after all.) At that time, I wish that Cirno was shooting Icicle Fall: Easy on me or that I can hibernate in a refrigerator like Letty. We reached Quezon National Park at around 11:30 AM and had lunch there. The traffic wasn’t heavy so we got home at 4:30 PM. Its good to be home!
And that is pretty much what happened during my trip to Bicol. While I liked and enjoyed the places that we have been to, I just really hate that they make me sleep early because we are going some place. (I’m more of a night owl you see.) I also really hate it when my sleep is disturbed. At times like those, I really wish that I can shoot danmaku or fire off a Master Spark on the fool who disturbs my sleep. Hehehe….
